Julita is now halfway through her 12-week placement with us, and in just a few short weeks, she has already gained a wealth of experience across various areas of our business. From internal and external audit to accounts preparation and VAT returns, she has embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and professionalism. Whether working in our office or on client sites, Julita has demonstrated an impressive ability to adapt and contribute effectively to our team.
Beyond the technical skills she is developing, Julita has also taken full advantage of the wider learning experiences available to her. Most notably, she attended our International Women’s Day event, where she had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Dorinnia Carville, Comptroller and Auditor General for Northern Ireland. Events like these provide invaluable insights and inspiration, and we are delighted that Julita has engaged so actively with our firm’s culture and initiatives.
We at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore hope that the variety of work and the supportive atmosphere within the firm will stand Julita in good stead in her career and that she has and will continue to benefit from the mentorship and guidance provided by our team.
Looking ahead, we have no doubt that Julita will continue to make the most of her placement and that she has a bright future ahead of her. We are delighted to be part of her journey and look forward to seeing where her career takes her.
Eimear Brown, Head of Audit at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, said: “Placements like Julita’s are a fantastic way for students to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice. They offer the chance to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, build essential industry connections, and gain confidence in a dynamic work environment. At Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, we are committed to nurturing emerging talent, and we are thrilled to see Julita making such a strong impact during her time with us.
At Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, we recognise that the future of our profession lies in the hands of the next generation. It’s been fantastic to have Julita with us, and we hope her time here has been as valuable to her as it has been to us.”
