As the summer draws to a close, we at Baker Tilly Mooney want to extend our thanks to two interns who have spent the month of August contributing to our team. Our summer internship programme has been a great success, and it’s all thanks to the hard work, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives our interns brought to the office every day.

Following on from our July interns, in August, we were joined by Grainne Smyth, who is preparing to enter her final year of the Accounting BSc at Ulster University, and Victoria Lloyd, also entering her final year of an Accounting BSc at Queen’s University Belfast. From day one, our interns have shown an eagerness to learn that has brought great energy to our office. Their contributions have been invaluable and it is clear that these young professionals have bright futures ahead of them. Baker Tilly Mooney Moore is proud to have been part of their journey.

Beyond the tangible work they’ve completed, our interns have also infused our office with energy and a fresh perspective. Their curiosity and innovative thinking have sparked discussions that have not only helped us improve our processes but also reminded us of the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in the rapidly changing world of work.

As they prepare to return to their studies, we want to thank them for choosing to spend their summer with us. We hope the skills they’ve developed and the experiences they’ve had here will serve them well in their future careers.

Eimear Brown, Head of Audit at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, said: “Welcoming new interns to the office is always an exciting time for us at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, allowing us to give Grainne and Victoria a valuable learning experience but also allowing us to learn from them.  We want to thank both of them for the energy and enthusiasm they brought to the firm. We wish them the best of luck as they return to their universities to complete their studies.”
