We were delighted to recently welcome a new cohort of interns for summer 2024. As part of their learning experience, our interns will gain excellent insights into life in a modern office and how a leading accountancy and advisory services firm operates. During their time here at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, the interns will gain experience in a number of specialisms in the firm, from Audit & Assurance to Business Services, including accounting services, VAT, as well as tax advisory services.

Joining our team are Darragh Connolly, who is studying towards his Master’s degree in Accounting at Queen’s University Belfast, and Orlagh Leer, also a student of Queen’s University Belfast, who has completed the first two years of her BSc in Economics and Finance.

At Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, we believe that nurturing young talent is crucial for the continued growth and success of our industry. Our internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to work on real-world projects that make a tangible impact. Orlagh and Darragh will have the chance to learn from our experienced professionals, gain exposure to various facets of accounting and advisory services, and develop the skills necessary to thrive in their future careers.

Eimear Brown, Audit & Assurance Director and Head of Audit, Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, said “It is always an exciting time to welcome new interns into the office. While this is predominantly a learning experience for Darragh and Orlagh, we also seek to learn from the enthusiasm and fresh perspectives they bring to the office.

As we embark on this summer journey with Darragh and Orlagh, we are excited about the potential they bring to our firm. Their energy, passion, and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our core values. We look forward to seeing them grow, learn, and contribute to our firm’s success.”
