Extensions to the Small Business Support Grant Scheme
Providing grants of £10,000, the Small Business Support Grant Scheme has been operational since the end of March and has now been extended to include small industrial businesses that qualify for industrial de-rating. It is expected that this will include around 2,500 additional businesses. Over 14,000 payments have already been made under the scheme. £25,000 Hospitality, Tourism and Retail Grant
Businesses in the hospitality, retail and tourism sectors will be eligible to apply for grants of £25,000. Applications to the scheme will open on 20th April. It is expected that they will take around 15 working days to process, subject to verification of eligibility.
Both schemes will close for applications on 20th May and we would urge early application.
