The main purpose of the role is to deliver a professional, commercially focused OD and HR advisory support service to our corporate, public sector and SME sector clients. Your role will be to listen, understand the clients’ business and respond in a structured manner. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a range of OD and HR solutions for those clients.

Providing both strategic and operational OD support and advice (onsite and remotely), you will:

  • Provide advisory support on wide range of Human Resources issues supporting clients across all aspects of HR operational and compliance matters, supporting the development of strategies and devising solutions to deal with organisation structures, people, workforce, remuneration and talent issues.
  • Supporting Organisation Design matters, supporting and undertaking current and future state analysis, carrying out range of organisational analysis and diagnostics as well as supporting design of and migration to new operating models. 
  • Account management of clients on your portfolio and taking care of their needs, through regular contact, quarterly usage reports and sharing information on our full services
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as employment solicitors, to provide the most appropriate, proactive ER solutions for our clients where we are unable to do so ourselves.
  • Supporting ongoing and new client relationships through effective account management and proactive engagement with external contacts through social media

What you’ll need to succeed

Reporting directly to the Head of Consulting, you’ll provide HR strategy and advisory to HR projects across a multitude of organisations not limited to large public bodies, SME’s, financial institutions, government entities and multinational corporations. You’ll provide professional and strategic advisory to areas concerning workforce planning and reskilling solutions, organisation and cultural re-design as well as performance management and employee experience. You’ll have the opportunity to be at the forefront of managing a diversified portfolio of HR projects within a reputable HR Consulting team whilst gaining the necessary exposure to excel and progress as an all-rounded HR professional.

The suitable individual should bring a minimum of 5 years HR Consulting experience within sizeable Management Consulting firms or in-house HR Consulting / Projects experience. You’ll demonstrate second to none communication skills and strategic thinking and have participated in diverse HR projects across multiple industries. You’ll bring sound HR knowledge with proven ability to problem solve and consult whilst knowing how to work efficiently in a team alongside other HR Consultants

Having an open mind to provide the best solution for each client, you will be supportive, passionate and have a strong commercial / business acumen to speak to clients at all levels.

You will be an independent, enthusiastic OD or HR specialist with significant previous experience. You will have a commercial approach to all aspects of human resource advisory and/or organisation design/structure reviews/change implementation. You will have a common-sense approach, and unrivalled communication skills.

This is a fast-paced role so the ability to manage a diverse client base, prioritise your work, and meet tight deadlines is essential.

You may be CIPD qualified, you might have Organisation Design, Agile or Change Management qualifications but you must have a minimum 5 years’ experience and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the key issues facing a range of clients/sectors.

A lot of our work occurs in the broad public sector – central and local government and public bodies in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, so an experience of public sector would be a distinct advantage. 

As onsite support is required, you must hold a current driving license the ability to work flexibly.

This is a full-time and permanent position

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid/Flexible Working is available)
