Along with our colleagues across the globe in Baker Tilly International, we are committed to Breaking the Bias and shaping a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. There is no doubt that the prevalence of women in the workplace is directly linked to gender equality and the end of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. We are thrilled to be a leading accountancy and advisory company with a staff team that is 60% female, with many outstanding women in positions from Trainee to Partner level.
Looking ahead, we encourage our colleagues, clients and the wider profession to consider what steps they can take to help foster gender equality, think about the women who have impacted their career, and commit to being aware of and tackling the barriers to gender equality.
Our Head of Audit Eimear Brown is proud to be one of the women working at Director level within the company. Eimear has led the Audit team since joining us in 2021 and is responsible for staff training and development. She said:
