Life at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore isn’t all about accounting. This autumn, a team of our Graduate Trainees took some time away from their desks to try their hand at photography, with the help of our friends from Belfast Exposed.

Situated in Clarendon Dock on the banks of the River Lagan, our team has a wonderful office surrounding to enjoy and explore when not working on behalf of clients or studying for their qualifying exams. Right beside the ship building dock constructed in the 1800s, we’re also in the heart of Belfast’s growing commercial zone and have a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants right on our doorstep.

Taking advantage of this, seven of our trainees headed out with the Belfast Exposed team to explore the area while learning a trick or two about photography. Even in accounting, having the confidence and a few skills behind the camera can come in useful, particularly for developing your LinkedIn which is an important tool for career development.

As Business Members of Arts & Business, we were introduced to arts member Belfast Exposed.  With over 35 years’ experience, they deliver photography courses to all types of organisations, including skills for pleasure photography as well as for employability, business, and career development.

As balance is important for us here at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, we tasked the team with capturing shots to showcase the variety of life at the firm, from training to social events and the popular Finish Early Friday scheme.

Thanks to Matthew, Ciara, Micheal, Sergio, Ryan, Sara, and Rory for taking on the challenge and producing photography demonstrating life at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, including our offices, the Graduate Trainee Programme, the dreaded results day, the social aspect, and the best local spots to grab a coffee on your break.
