This week, we catch up with Tax Manager, Chris Bradley. Chris joined Baker Tilly Mooney Moore in 2020, with a specialist knowledge of personal tax compliance, pension planning, incorporations and residency issues.

“I had just started with Baker Tilly Mooney Moore following six months of paternity leave when lockdown ensued. Thankfully, the firm was incredibly accommodating, and our flexible working policy allowed me to look after my son while nurseries were closed. This support meant I could balance my integration into the firm with my role as a dad.

A particular highlight of my first year was being nominated by the partners to represent the firm on the Baker Tilly International Strategy Think Tank for the EMEA region. This experience allowed me to meet colleagues from member firms across a variety of countries. It’s also a unique opportunity to be involved with the network’s global strategy for the future!

My role at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore is varied and I continue work across a range of tax disciplines. I have helped manage a wide variety of projects which include advising on residency issues, preparing research and development claims, dealing with tax investigations, inheritance tax and succession planning, company reorganisations and much more. This work enables our clients to structure their personal and/or business affairs in a tax efficient manner according to their needs. In addition to my advisory role, I manage the compliance obligations of a large number of individual and corporate clients.
