We talk to Restructuring and Insolvency Manager, Colin Whyte, about how he is finding working from home and lockdown life.
“Working from home has had its challenges, but it’s certainly had its highlights. Being able to enjoy lunch in the garden with my two children has been brilliant, and one thing I definitely don’t miss is rush-hour traffic! Trying to balance work commitments with helping my two daughters with their school work has had its moments, but we seem to be ironing out the kinks now.
As much as I’m looking forward to getting back to the office, it would be good to take forward some form of home working in the future too. Certain parts of my job are easier to complete at home without the distractions of a busy office environment. For me, the key has been staying in touch with people; whether that’s by phone, email or social media, we’re all in this together so we’ve been looking out for each other too.”
