We are delighted to welcome several new graduates to our 2022 Graduate Training Scheme, with recruitment for next year’s programme, which supports trainees to sit their professional accountancy exams, now also underway.
With a full induction programme and professional training, the scheme allows each graduate to gain accreditation by either the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI). Continuing to expand our entry level intake, we recently welcomed four new graduates and two Higher Level Apprentices to the firm.
Graduate Stephanie Phillips joins after completing an Access Course at South Eastern Regional College, BSc Pathways in Accountancy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting from Ulster University. She will complete her training via the ACCA.
Rudi Currie and Peter Bradley embark on the training programme having studied undergraduate degrees at Queen’s University Belfast. Peter then studied a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting at Ulster University, while Rudi completed the Accounting Diploma. Both will complete their training with the CAI.
Philip Stothers also completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting from Ulster University, having studied a BSc in Accounting at Ulster University previously. He was also winner of the Baker Tilly Mooney Moore Award for Ulster University’s Highest Performing Student in Financial Accounting in Year 2 and will study with the CAI as well as completing his Masters.
Higher Level Apprentices Conal Moore and Justin Burns will each study with Accounting Technicians Ireland going forward.
Baker Tilly Mooney Moore is a recognised platinum employer by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), specialising in Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Taxation and Restructuring & Insolvency.

It is great to have Conal and Justin join us as apprentices also and we have no doubt our busy practice will provide an excellent introduction to the sector.”
