We are delighted to welcome five new graduates and trainees and launch recruitment for our 2024 Graduate Training Programme.
With a full induction programme and professional training, our Graduate Training Programme supports graduates to gain accreditation by either the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
Ahead of opening recruitment for 2024, we welcomed five new graduates from local universities. Iain Gingles embarks on the training programme having studied a BSc in Accounting at Queen’s University Belfast and will complete his training via the ACCA. Kirsten Fegan is also qualifying with the ACCA, having studied an undergraduate degree in BSc Accounting (Pathways) at Ulster University. Hannah Dolan joins the programme from Ulster University, having graduated with an MSc in International Accounting with Data Analytics. Hannah also holds a BSc in Business with Accounting and is studying with the CAI.
Committed to expanding our graduate intake year on year, we also welcomed Tim Reid from the Ulster University Higher Level Apprentice programme. Tim will split his time between work and studying, spending one day completing his BSc degree in Accounting with Management. Ulster University student Ellen McGeown will complete her year of placement with us, prior to completing her final year of BSc study in Accounting and Law.
We are a recognised platinum employer by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and applications are now open for the 2024 Graduate Training Programme, which supports trainees to sit their professional accountancy exams.
Joanne Small, Audit and Assurance Partner said: “We are thrilled to welcome our newest recruits onboard our 2023 Graduate Training Programme. Our graduate scheme is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to gain experience and complete their training in a leading firm with a wide range of clients. Our recent recruits bring a new level of energy and enthusiasm to the team and will prove to be excellent additions to our busy firm. We look forward to supporting our graduates and wish each one well for their time with us.”
Donal Laverty, Consulting Partner added: “Kirsten, Iain, Hannah, Tim and Ellen are bright and capable young professionals and I have no doubt that they will thrive at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore. Buoyed by a string of new appointments in recent months, the intake of our Graduate Training Programme is always a highlight for us, and we look forward to supporting the development of this year’s cohort. We are also now seeking to recruit the next generation of exceptional accountants and encourage anyone who is thinking about their next steps to get in touch.”
