We caught up with Restructuring and Insolvency Manager, Claire Mateer, to find out how she has found working from home during a year of lockdown.
“I have two young children so when the lockdown was announced on 23 March 2020, I was thrown in at the deep end trying to juggle working from home with home schooling. However, I soon established a routine and there have been some highlights like being able to spend more time with my children and pick them up from school.”
Baker Tilly Mooney Moore has been incredibly supportive over the past year and their flexible working policy really facilitates the balance between work and parenting. The firm has updated our working systems with Cloud based technology, allowing us to perform almost every aspect of our roles from home.
Our Restructuring and Insolvency team is available to provide advice on any personal or business debt related issues during this challenging time. Many people are facing debt for the first time and the sooner they seek expert advice, the better. Just speaking to someone and establishing a plan of action can really alleviate anxiety. We are currently working with a number of businesses on debt restructuring options which should allow them to continue to trade even in these uncertain times.”
